Women's Lit topics

What's so special about books by women?

Books about women by male authors: do they "get it right?" Be sure to tell us why.

Women literary characters and their re-sketching in film adaptations.

Hollywood's Adaptations of your favorite novel by a woman and/or a dramatic "chick flick." If we assume that "film" is the "drama" of the 90's (do we assume that?) then what movies can we look at the way we look at drama?

A "mock" interview with one of the women characters in a book you've read. I.E., "So, Wife Of Bath, can I call you "Wife?" ..... to which you might find an answer in the text, and quote, or make up your own based on an understanding of the character.
