Summer Shortlist

This summer, we will be making a big announcement about Women Writers' future direction. We anticipate a big batch of new editorial staff applications (after I send out the call for contributors, within a few weeks from today.) We will also be doing some "housekeeping," "re-vamping", whatever you call it, to weed out really old stuff and add new, interesting content. We've had several guest edited issues while General Editor Kim Wells (me) was finally finishing the projet of a millenium (two of them, in fact).

This Summer '07 issue, so far, is a teeny tiny one with a few book reviews. We had problems with our listserv, where we solicit and announce book reviews. Now it's fixed, thanks to my ISP, and that problem should be a thing of the past, but our normal group of reviewers was out of contact for a while. So only a few made it through this time. Better work will be done in the future, I promise.

Keep an eye on the site in the next few weeks for more exciting news.
