Schoolhouse Rock: includes the catchy Grammar Rock (You'll learn what a conjunction is but you have to listen carefully). This site takes me back to my childhood, watching Saturday morning cartoons, eating cereal, and wearing pj's with feet.... The Grammar Safari: a fun site that explores grammar the way we "learned the rules" as kids: naturally. You can learn a lot if you explore this safari. The Paradigm Online Writing Assistant: this site, constructed by a proffesor and composer of a very popular Grammar/Composition textbook, can help you through online excercises, some good coaching, and some great advice. Site even includes a beta version of the program that you can download & try yourself, as well as online "composition chat." Robin's nest of writers' links: a site developed by another teacher (just like your own) that has a large collection of good links to explore, including copyright, dictionaries, online programs, etc. Guide to citation of electronic sources: When you're writing your bibliography, sometimes the "print" indexes do not tell you how to cite "cyber" sources. This website will show you how to cite MLA style electronic publications. Strunk's online style guide: for years, the Strunk & Wagner grammar book was the definitive one.
