Reading: FOR, pp. 323-330 & "Urban Legends: 'The Boyfriend's Death'" pp. 338-346.
Writing: Go to the following URL: http://www.snopes.com
Find an urban legend on the site that interests you, and then explain what is interesting to you about this legend. How does the Snopes site present urban myth? How do they explain the legend you find interesting? Explain why this example is interesting to you. Bring a printout of the page you choose, along with your written discussion.

(1-2 pages, typed, double spaced).
