Women of Color, Women of Words
Site creator/ownwer
Angela Weaver proclaims this wonderful site as: "dedicated
to African American women who have gifted/shaken up/disturbed
the theatre world with their powerful words." The site features
a list of nine African American dramatists, which in turn will
lead the browser to biographical and critical discussions of
the authors' works, photos, and selected bibliographies and articles
about the author. Wonderfully for academics, the site also features
a list of dissertations that have been written on these authors.
